Does training in martial arts make people violent?
No. In fact, martial arts training can be a great outlet for people with aggressive tendencies. Our techniques are designed to disable an attacker, not cause lasting harm.
Do potential students need to be fit to begin classes?
No. We have students of all fitness levels in our classes. Our instructors will work with you to ensure that you get the most out of your workout, no matter your fitness level. However, as with any new activity, it is always a good idea to check with a healthcare provider first to ensure that martial arts training is right for you.
Is there a risk of injury from participating in martial arts training?
There is always a risk of injury when participating in physical activity. However, our instructors are trained to minimize the risk of injury by teaching proper techniques and not being careless.
What is the best age to start taking martial arts classes?
We have students of all ages in our classes, from kids to adults. However, we find that the earlier children begin training, the more astute they tend to pick up the techniques.
I’m not interested in competition. Will I still enjoy taking classes?
Absolutely! We have students of all interests in our classes. While we offer competitive opportunities for those interested, many students take classes simply for improved physical fitness, increased self-confidence, and heightened focus.

Yes! We believe that learning should be fun, and our instructors make every effort to ensure that our classes are enjoyable for all students.
